Guided Saltwater — June through August

The four-day, two-angler trip.

Four days on the water, two anglers to a boat, more rod time and more personal service. All gear, all meals, all guided.

01 The Trip

Real West Coast water.

Kyuquot Sound is one of the few stretches of British Columbia coastline still uncrowded by lodge boats. Our trips run during the prime fishing season — late June, July, and August — when chinook salmon, coho salmon, halibut, ling cod, and rockfish are all on the table.

Every Exclusive Fishing Package is four days long and built around two anglers per boat with one guide. Industry norm is three to a boat. We deliberately run two: more rod time, more attention from your guide, and a better day for everyone on board. The lodge is ten minutes from the grounds, so mornings start unhurried and the run home at dusk is short.

Your package includes all guided fishing days, all meals, comfortable accommodations at the floating lodge, premium gear (rods, reels, lures, bait), and safety equipment (floater jackets, boots, rain pants).

02 What's Included

Everything but your fishing license.

The package is genuinely all-inclusive once you're at the lodge. Bring layered clothes and your camera.

01

Guided fishing

Four days on the water with an experienced local guide. Two anglers per boat — more rod time per guest than any other lodge on the coast.

02

All gear & safety

Premium rods, reels, lures, bait, plus floater jackets, boots, and rain pants. You won't need to bring fishing equipment.

03

Lodge & meals

Comfortable rooms at the floating lodge, breakfast and packed lunch on the boat, locally sourced dinner — salmon, halibut, prawns, whatever the day brought in.

03 Species

What you'll chase.

Kyuquot Sound holds five game species during the summer season.

Chinook Salmon

The king of the West Coast. Trophy fish in the 20–40 lb range are common in Kyuquot through July.

Coho Salmon

Strong fighters that show up in numbers mid-summer through August.

Halibut

Pacific halibut in the 30–100+ lb range. Bottom fishing trips for the days you want to bend a rod hard.

Ling Cod

Aggressive bottom fish with great eating quality. A regular feature of mixed-bag days.

Rock Fish

Black, yelloweye, quillback. Quick action and excellent table fare.

Prawns & Crab

Pulled fresh for dinner. Often featured on the lodge menu the same day they're caught.
